Rural London
I have discovered where London’s city meets the countryside.
It starts here in the Asda car park …
… which is next door to Mudchute Farm. My friend Bjorn and I took his daughter, Kristina, to see the animals.
The farm seems more like a zoo with farm animals than an actual farm. There are only a few of each animal, rather than, say, a whole herd of cows.
Unless you count two cows as a “herd”, that is!
Llamas aren’t your typical farm animal. They do produce very nice woolly jumpers, though.
The floppy eared rabbits stopped cooperating the second I got my camera out, so this is what they look like from behind.
I took this picture of a squirrel next to my feet to show how tame they were. Seconds later it ran half way up my leg!
